COVID Vaccine in Wahkiakum County

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccine

Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services (WHHS) has received a limited number of COVID-19 Vaccine doses. The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and the Federal Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have published prioritization lists for distribution of the vaccine by groups. You can access the DOH information here, and the CDC information here.

So far, Wahkiakum has only received the Moderna version of the vaccine. This vaccine requires 2 doses 28 days apart for full efficacy.

Currently, we have attempted to notify all 1a groups and vaccinated many of them. We are now moving in to the 1b groups and have started scheduling those. If you fit into one of those groups please call 360-849-4041 to schedule an appointment. Specifically, if you are 70 and older please call. We are having regular clinics to administer the vaccine. These clinics are by appointment only, no walk-ups.

Due to the special storage requirements of the vaccine we are not accepting walk-ups at this time. Individuals who are in groups 1a or 1b must call 360-849-4041 and schedule an appointment.
