COVID Vaccine in Wahkiakum County

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccine

Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services (WHHS) is receiving regular shipments of vaccine. Typically the vaccine available is the Moderna vaccine, but some limited quantities of Johnson and Johnson are becoming available. 

WHHS is now taking names of anyone 18+ who would like to get a vaccine, please call 360-849-4041 to schedule an appointment. We are having regular clinics to administer the vaccine. These clinics are by appointment only, no walk-ups.

There is a clinic scheduled for Saturday April 17th from 9-12 that WHHS expects to have around 200 available appointments for. Please call 360-849-4041 to schedule an appointment.

Due to the special storage requirements of the vaccines we are not accepting walk-ups at this time. Individuals who would like to receive a vaccine must call 360-849-4041 and schedule an appointment.

For people that are home-bound, please let staff know when you call and we will make arrangements to bring you a shot.

WHHS is also looking for volunteers to help with traffic control for our clinics, if you or someone you know is interested please call 360-849-4041

WHHS is not holding back any doses. All first doses received are administered within a few days of receipt. 2nd doses are accounted for separately to ensure that they are available for timely administration. Generally 2nd doses are received a few days before they are administered as well.
