Programs

Wahkiakum County Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program offers a wide range of SUD services at our facility. These services include drug and alcohol assessments, individual counseling, and group sessions for both adults and youth. Our program is designed to help people experiencing the disease of addiction to gain the knowledge and understanding of the addiction process and facilitate their recovery. We offer intensive outpatient services and outpatient services for individuals who are involved with the following: DUI treatment, Alcohol and Drug Evaluations Services (ADES) Oregon, DOL for Washington State to assist individuals in getting their license reinstated, probation, DOC, Deferred Prosecution, and DOSA services. We also provide treatment in the Wahkiakum County Jail and coordination of care for individuals involved with the Washington State jail-based MAT program. We also work close with our mental health team to offer services to individuals in need of cooccurring care.

Treatment

Treatment is provided based on the level of care that is determined during the drug and alcohol assessment. There are two levels of care offered by WCHHS. They are intensive outpatient services and outpatient services. For intensive outpatient services, clients are required to participate in nine (9) hours of weekly group sessions and a minimum of one (1) hour of monthly individual sessions. For outpatient  services, clients are required to participate in at least 2.25 hours up to 6 hours of weekly group sessions and a minimum of one (1) hour of monthly individual sessions.
