2025-2030 Wahkiakum Local Homeless Housing Plan
Wahkiakum County Health & Human Services, in coordination with other local community organizations and community members, is in the process of developing the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Wahkiakum County. Open meetings have been held on January 29th, February 19th, and March 19th in person at the Hope Center, 320 S. 3rd St., Cathlamet. A Zoom link was also available. We are now meeting with smaller subcommittees to begin working on the plan. We plan to reconvene the larger group meeting to review the draft in June. The time and day are still to be determined. A public meeting on the Plan will be held in late October or early November—a date yet to be determined. The goal is to have the plan approved by County Commissioners no later than December 2nd, 2025.
