Thanksgiving & Christmas Food Baskets Programs
The Wahkiakum Food Pantry distributes holiday food baskets to income-eligible families in Wahkiakum County. These baskets provide the ingredients to prepare a holiday meal. You are only allowed to sign up for your household. Sign-ups are based on the availability of baskets. The person who signed up for the basket must bring proof of address and pick up a confirmation card from Wahkiakum County Health & Human Services (WCHHS). The Thanksgiving Food Basket Program sign-ups will start the first week of November each year.
The Christmas Food Basket Program sign-ups will start the first week of December each year.
Households must visit the Wahkiakum Food Pantry to sign up.

Star Program of Wahkiakum County
The STAR Program is for income-eligible families with children and provides age-appropriate holiday gifts for children who live in Wahkiakum County and/or attend school in Cathlamet or Naselle. For more information, contact Nova Lee and/or John Knopp at 360-431-5232.
Applications will be available in late fall at the addresses listed below at Wahkiakum County Health & Human Services or Bank of the Pacific.

Shop with a Cop
What is Shop With Cops? The event aims to foster positive relationships between youth and officers. Each year during the end-of-the-year holiday season, young kids in grades K through 6th grade are selected to shop at one of the local area stores to purchase gifts for their immediate family members.
